New York, NY – As one of the premier industry sector conferences in the world, the Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, hosted by the NYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality, is always a highly anticipated event that convenes thought leaders from across the US and around the globe.

After careful consideration and to ensure the health and safety of conference attendees and panelists in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Conference’s Executive Planning Committee has chosen to postpone the Conference until November 2020.

The new day-and-a-half event will take place on November 11 and 12, at the New York Marriott Marquis, and will feature the same powerful and thought-provoking content that is so critical to those who attend the Conference each year. In a time when the industry is experiencing enormous volatility and uncertainty, postponing the date will also provide greater clarity and perspective on the path forward and the new opportunities in the months to come. The reformatted conference will consist of plenary sessions led by top industry executives, and will provide an invaluable outlook on the future of hospitality, travel, and tourism.

JUNE VIRTUAL CEOs CHECK IN PANEL

In addition to the onsite event in November, the Planning Committee is developing a virtual version of the ever-popular CEOs Check In panel, which will occur on June 2 at 2 p.m. and will be moderated by Jonathan M. Tisch, chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels & Co. and co-chairman of the Board of Loews Corporation. A star-studded lineup is expected, with top CEOs providing deeply informative insights on trends and projections. To date, panelists include: David Kong, president and chief executive officer, BWH Hotel Group; Keith Barr, chief executive officer, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG); Christopher J.
