WASHINGTON, D.C., March 23, 2026 – Officials of Donohoe Hospitality Services (DHS), a division of Donohoe, today announced that the company has promoted Jeremy Huvard to vice president of sales & marketing and Malcolm Mitchell to vice president of restaurants & bars and as the company strengthens its executive team.

Similarly, Jeremy successfully expanded the sales and marketing efforts at both the property and regional levels for Donohoe’s portfolio, with hotels enjoying increased occupancies and rates under his watch. These promotions are well earned, and we look forward to their continued contributions as Donohoe maintains its own growth goals.”

Jeremy Huvard
A 25-year hospitality sales veteran, Huvard joined Donohoe in 2013 as a director of sales & marketing. In that role, he led the sales and marketing efforts for IHG-, Marriott- and Hyatt-branded properties, consistently delivering strong results and developing high-performing teams. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading portfolio-wide sales, revenue and marketing strategies that drive topline performance and market share growth. Previously, he held multiple property-level sales & marketing roles for such hotels as Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston Center, Hotel Contessa and Virginia Crossings Resort. Huvard currently serves as the president of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing International (HSMAI) DC chapter. Huvard received his Bachelor of Science in hospitality and tourism management from Virginia Tech.

Malcolm Mitchell
With more than 25 years of culinary experience, Mitchell is an award-winning chef and author who most recently served as Donohoe’s corporate director of restaurants and bars. In that role, he curated forward-leaning concepts for hotels in the development pipeline, while strengthening relationships and partnerships within the local community. Prior to joining Donohoe, he was executive chef/owner of The M Chef Group – New York and has served as an adjunct professor for Prince Georges Community College. Mitchell has received multiple culinary awards, including Richmond Magazine Best New Restaurants 2014 & Baltimore Sun 2017 Best New Chef. He received his Advanced Culinary Arts Degree from Stratford University.
