Sonesta’s International Growth Continues with New Property in Egypt

SONESTA CONTINUES INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION WITH THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR A NEW CONSTRUCTION ROYAL SONESTA

NEWTON, MA [April 23, 2026] – Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) announced today the executed deal for a new construction property in Giza, Egypt. The hotel, with 208 rooms and suites overlooking the pyramids, is slated to open in 2028 will join the portfolio under The Royal Sonesta brand.

This new build property overlooking the Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum will be home to 208 rooms and suites, multiple dining outlets, an upscale gym and spa, and meeting and conference rooms for business travelers.
