Avion Hospitality Assumes Management of 254-Room Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown

AUSTIN, Texas — [June 29, 2026] —Avion Hospitality was selected to manage the Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown. The transition will mark the beginning of a significant investment in the JMI Realty-owned hotel, which is slated to undergo a comprehensive renovation designed to elevate the guest experience and strengthen its position within one of the nation’s most dynamic hospitality markets.

Located in the heart of downtown Austin within steps of the Austin Convention Center, the 254-room hotel is poised to benefit from the continued growth of the city as a premier destination for business, leisure and group travel. The planned renovation coincides with the $1.6 billion Austin Convention Center expansion to double its size and enhance its capacity to host larger events as the area continues to grow and attract an ever increasing number of business and leisure travelers.
