In celebration of the life of an industry icon, we present to you an interview with Disney Imagineer Marty Sklar, who passed away last month. This interview was recorded several years ago, and we at the No Vacancy podcast felt we needed to share this ‘lost’ interview with all of you.

He was a mastermind who oversaw the development of EPCOT Center (now known as Epcot) at Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort. As VP creative development, EVP and President of Imagineering, Sklar oversaw the design and construction of Tokyo Disneyland, the Disney-MGM Studios, Disneyland Paris, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney California Adventure Park, Tokyo DisneySea, the Walt Disney Studios Park and Hong Kong Disneyland.
