Minneapolis (July 14, 2021) – Radisson Hotel Group Americas today announced the appointment of Tom Buoy as Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, and Michael Fischer, Chief Human Resources Officer. Both newly appointed leaders will join Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ Executive Committee. In his role, Buoy will be responsible for bringing a visionary and thoughtful approach to shaping the commercial strategies, along with building and executing plans to support the success of the company. Fischer will lead all aspects of Human Resources to grow Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ inclusive culture, talent development, employee engagement, and sustainability efforts.

Most recently, Buoy served as President and Chief Executive Officer of his own consulting business. During his career, Buoy also led the commercial transformation at Extended Stay America, leveraging an agile and data-driven approach to overhaul the company’s revenue management, marketing, and sales processes. Additionally, he served as Senior Vice President, Customer Marketing and Revenue Management for Morgans Hotel Group (previously Ian Schrager Hotels) and worked in Operations and Revenue Management with Accor Hotels in Australia.
           Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, Fischer served as Chief Human Resources Officer for White Lodging, one of the leading hotel ownership, development, and management companies in America. In this role, he was responsible for all areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, culture development and engagement, total rewards, training and development, talent management, and succession planning. Fischer also served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Loews Hotels, and in roles of increasing responsibility at the property level and above in Human Resources for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
