LOS ANGELES, CA, FEBRUARY 28, 2018 – Cox & Kings, the world’s most enduring travel company, has opened a new office in New York City, strengthening its US presence from coast-to-coast. This move comes shortly after the company increased its US sales presence with the addition of three new team members strategically based across the country, continuing its efforts to bolster relationships within the travel agency and luxury travel adviser communities. As the company grows in 2018 and beyond, there are plans to accommodate additional staff in this new Manhattan space.
Heading up this East Coast development is the new Vice President of Marketing, Jared Alster. As a passionate marketing executive with 15 years of experience, Alster has a history of building brands and delivering growth for companies in travel and technology. Most recently, Alster was a co-founder of the startup Stride Travel, a marketplace to bring together aspiring world travelers and adventure travel companies looking to connect with new customers. Prior to that, Alster was Director of Marketing for Intrepid Travel, the world’s largest adventure travel company. His early career was spent in the fast-paced world of Madison Avenue advertising firms.
Also calling the new NYC office home is Yasmin Mana, who joined Cox & Kings last year as Director of Sales, East. In this role, Yasmin oversees and fosters the company’s relationships with the travel professional community along the Eastern Seaboard.
